Buyer / Purchaser EMEA (Amsterdam)

Position Summary: As a Buyer, you will be expected to source and fill customer requirements in the electronic components industry. You will be negotiating transactions and identifying new vendors. You are also going to provide feedback and market information to the sales staff and product management team in real-time by interacting with our other global locations. In addition, you are going to get the opportunity to create demand, keep your eyes open on new opportunities and be a great trader. The role provides the opportunity for exceptional high earning potential with uncapped commissions!

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain contact and account info in ERP system, including any pertinent changes.

• Grow account in revenue, gross profit, and contact level, providing regular progress reports.

• Maintain records of all goods ordered and received, resolving any discrepancies.

• Source materials, equipment, or supplies, and negotiate favorable terms of sale.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

• Fulfill other duties and obligations as requested by supervisor or management.

• Identify potential purchase opportunities for short or end-of-life products based on confirmed customer demand.

• Work with Sales team to fulfill orders on identified products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

• Review BOM for lower costs to increase gross profit, making recommendations to management.
