Business System & Compliance Manager

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water, so we’re on the lookout for a Business System & Compliance Manager. The purpose of this role is to make sure that we remain compliant from a legislative regulatory perspective and to enhance the collaboration of the senior management team. To ensure that the objective targets are SMART. It is also your responsibility to manage the BSI auditing process by the liaison and coordination of the auditor(s) and on-going surveillance visits throughout the year.

Location Durrington (West Sussex)
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £37,000 per annum, depending upon experience

About the Role:
As our Business System & Compliance Manager you will:
Act as the representative for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in relation to the management systems, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001.
Maintain and control those systems and where required, other such business systems.
Facilitate and manage documentation revision and generation in compliance with good
documentation practices.
Promote the benefits of the management systems and champion continual improvement.
Resilience planning.
Sampling of compliance across the different departments across the building.
Developing corporate strategies, targets and objectives with the Senior management team.
Auditing of regional depots to ensure compliance to BSI standards.
Carrying out desktop audits on subcontractors / supplier chains.
Overseeing the management of SharePoint and BigChange.
Populating analytics.
Populate process maps / organisational charts for the business.
Manage the advisors and their responsibilities in regards to BSI standards.
Populating corrective action plans at the back of audits and ensure that the implementations have
been put in place.
Ensuring that corrective actions have been closed off and evidenced.
Delegation of event scenarios in regards to BSI 22301.
Oversee the surveillance of on-going BSI visits throughout the year.
Carrying out the Business Review Meetings.
Support the development with department head or nominated person regarding case studies
To manage additional business management support personnel.
