Business Support Engineer/ Project Officer

Location: Quarry Bay

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the water, waste management and energy sectors in Hong Kong, Macau and the surrounding region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and potential clients.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the waste and energy markets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with company objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, technological advancements, and market trends.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Contribute to the development of the company's overall business strategy in the water, waste and energy sectors.  
• Prepare and support for tendering submission including commercial and technical areas.  
• On site support for project execution 

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably in energy or building service background

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in business development, engineering support or a related role, preferably in the waste management or energy sectors. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Officer role.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong waste management and energy markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on site occasionally .
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).
• Basic project management knowledge
