Business Process Expert (BPE) – S2P COUPA

Purpose of the Role

As a Business Process Expert (BPE) in the NXP IT COUPA Team, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs and IT solutions. You will ensure the smooth operation, continuous improvement, and automation of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes supported by COUPA, including Source-to-Order, eInvoicing, Supplier Information Management (SIM), Supplier Risk and Performance Management, Sourcing Optimization, Analytics, and Spend Guard.

Your expertise will help deliver innovative, scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and create value for our global business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Delivery & Support• Deliver high-quality IT solutions aligned with NXP’s business requirements.
• Execute projects and change requests within defined budgets, timelines, and architecture standards.
• Validate solution designs and oversee implementation.

• Process Optimization & Innovation• Identify opportunities to embed innovative technologies (RPA, AI) for process improvements.
• Define solution roadmaps in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
• Create, challenge, and validate business cases for IT support of business requirements.

• Lifecycle Management• Support project lifecycles: budgeting, requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and handover to operations.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance and architecture standards.

• Collaboration• Act as a trusted advisor between business and IT teams.
• Work closely with shared service teams (Application Integration, RPA, AI, Portal Solutions, Enterprise BI).
• Collaborate with other IT BPEs and Solution Architects across Procurement, Finance, Trade Compliance, and Sourcing.

Qualifications

Required:

• 8+ years of COUPA experience (S2O, eInvoicing, DIM modules).
• Knowledge of COUPA CRA, AIC, and CSO (preferred).
• Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies.
• Experience in application configuration and maintenance.
• Ability to drive requirements definition and application acceptance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on automation (RPA, AI).
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and/or SAFe framework.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Travel:

• Occasional international travel (up to 10%) - optional

Technical & Soft Skills

• Technical: COUPA modules (S2O, eInvoicing, SIM), integration tools, RPA platforms, AI-driven automation.
• Soft Skills: Stakeholder management, problem-solving, adaptability, strategic thinking.
