Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA P2F (Plan to Fulfill) – Production Planning (PP) Consultant to support an ECC to S/4HANA transformation program. The consultant will play a key role in the design, configuration, validation, and deployment of S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices and the project’s Global Template approach. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, deep knowledge of end-to-end Plan-to-Fulfill processes, and prior exposure to transformation projects using SAP Activate and implementation accelerators. Experience in cement, building materials, manufacturing, mining, or heavy industries is highly desirable. The resource will work closely with production, planning, logistics, and operations teams, as well as with functional, technical, and integration teams, to ensure successful migration, adoption, and stabilization of S/4HANA PP.

Responsibilities and Duties

The SAP PP / P2F Consultant will be responsible for: Leading and facilitating Fit-to-Standard workshops for Plan-to-Fulfill processes. Supporting the design and validation of the S/4HANA Global Template for Production Planning and Manufacturing. Mapping business requirements from ECC to S/4HANA PP. Configuring SAP S/4HANA PP according to project standards and best practices, including: MRP strategies and planning parameters Production order types and control keys Capacity planning and scheduling settings Production confirmation and backflushing processes Integration with warehouse and inventory management Identifying and documenting gaps, RICEFW requirements, and process changes. Collaborating with technical teams on: Interfaces (e.g., MES, APS, or other manufacturing systems) Enhancements Conversions Reports and dashboards Supporting data migration activities, including: BOM, routing, and production version mapping Open production orders and planning data validation Preparing and executing test scenarios: Unit Testing (UT) Integration Testing (IT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Providing training support and knowledge transfer to production and planning teams. Supporting cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities. Working closely with project managers, other functional consultants (MM, SD, EWM, FI/CO, PM), and system integrators to ensure timely delivery. Ensuring alignment with SAP Activate methodology and project governance.

Essential Skills

The consultant should have:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP PP / P2F.

• At least 4 full-cycle SAP S4implementations

• Proven experience using SAP Activate methodology, including: Fit-to-Standard workshops Best Practices and Starter Systems Configuration and testing using accelerators

• Strong expertise in core SAP PP / P2F processes and functionalities, including: Demand Management (Planned Independent Requirements – PIR) MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Production Orders and Process Orders (if applicable) Repetitive Manufacturing (if applicable) Capacity Planning and Scheduling Shop Floor Control Production Confirmation and Goods Movements Batch Management (if applicable) Production Version, BOM, and Routing/Recipes integration

• Experience with: Data migration from ECC to S/4HANA (BOMs, routings, production versions, open orders, etc.)

• Fiori apps for Production Planning and Manufacturing Integration with other SAP modules, especially: MM (materials, inventory, procurement for production) SD (make-to-stock / make-to-order scenarios) EWM/LE (warehouse integration) PM (maintenance impact on production) CO (production cost collection and settlement)

• Prior experience in industries similar to cement, mining, heavy manufacturing, or industrial sector is a strong plus.

• Experience working in global or regional rollout programs is preferred.

• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Additional Comments

This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a solid understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes in heavy industry. The consultant should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment. Experience with: SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing for Production Engineering & Operations (PEO) SAP Digital Manufacturing / MES integration Advanced Planning (PP/DS or IBP) Batch-managed or process manufacturing environments is considered an advantage. Prior exposure to large-scale transformation programs and global templates is highly valued. Availability for occasional travel may be required depending on project needs. The consultant should demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.
