Department Overview

The Business Operations team plays a crucial role in forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely predictions of our business performance. We work closely with the Sales Operations team to stay aligned with new orders and sales strategies. Currently, our team consists of two dedicated professionals located in different parts of LATAM. Our goal is to maintain a positive and proactive work environment while optimizing our business processes and supporting growth initiatives.

Job Description

The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for executing the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial forecasting reporting, as well as the services operations analytics. The scope includes Mexico and NOLA.

Main responsibilities include:

• Manage data in Google Sheets, creating Pivot Tables and other types of data analysis to highlight trends in the data.

• Consolidate and analyze actual operating results (financial results- orders and revenue), integrating them into the forecast, adjusting future forecasts accordingly, and comparing them to the monthly / quarterly plan.

• Manage the sales forecasting in Salesforce.com, moving data from month to month as needed, and changing data to reflect the reality of each service project.

• Perform manual data entry, when necessary, along with spot-checking to make sure data integrity in our forecast is maintained. Cross-check data against multiple sources to maintain integrity. 

• Work with the Services Delivery Organization in Latin America to gather their forecast data, consolidate the data, process the data, and ensure the data is correctly represented in the forecast.

• Support the Planning process by providing the needed critical planning data as well as analyzing and suggesting important trends to optimize forecast accuracy.

• Perform FX calculations, re-stating local currency contracts into US Dollars at each month's published FX rate, also be willing to do the work to re-calculate forecast with different FX rates as part of scenario planning.

• Maintain a Google Drive repository of documents which serve as backup and historical repository for the cloud-based forecasting system.

This is an onsite role working from our office (Autopista Norte con calle 108).

Basic Requirements

• University education, with an associate's degree in a technical or financial career.

• 1+ year of work experience managing data.

• Working experience in using Tableau or other data visualization and analysis tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.

• Experienced with management of large data sets in Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce, or other similar platforms.

• Ability to understand and be understood in English, both spoken and written.

• Ability to understand and organize data in a clear and efficient manner for reporting purposes.

• Willingness to learn, "can do" attitude, proactive and willingness to help others, even if some tasks are repetitive.
