Role and Impact:

WPP Media Pk is seeking for a Business Manager - Commercial. You will provide strong commercial & financial advice on capital investment and ensuring overall billing operations that the senior management is appropriately communicated with on actual & forecast performance.

This role reports to Director Commercial.

In this role, what your goals will be:

In three months:

• You will be in pace with the GroupM’s value proposition and familiar with the company culture.

• To review in compiling budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly rolling forecast for agencies and WPP Media.

• Assuming the commercial role of the agencies assigned, on track to becoming the trusted business partner to agencies.

In six months:

• You will be able to make analysis on the agency’s financial performance and involve in the daily operation of the business and operational finance.

• Being a valued team member in supporting to drive growth of the company.

In 12 months:

• You will be able to advise the management team on the commercial strategy and deployment of resources in order to facilitate the management of the business.

• Ability to plan, strategize and execute mid to long term plan to improve the overall financials margins for agencies and group.

What your day will look like at WPP Media:

• Oversee Validation of WIP invoices report within date of release.

• Oversee and monitor all billed invoices supported by RO, Media Plan and Client Approval.

• Managing all billing & print issues.

• Reviewing financial, planning & analysis of half yearly and yearly audits of all fees-based clients

• Monitoring PE Raised as per governance in AXON & SOX control at regular intervals with proper documentation, client reporting, audits & agreements.

• Ensuring working capital by reviewing receivables/recovery of client’s invoices covering gross, media, commission and applicable taxes followed by the agreement.

• Monitoring the reconciliations of receivables and bulk discounts on monthly basis based upon the BD utilization status.

• Evaluating all client contracting & management i.e. credit notes & debit notes based on CFO approval.

• Evaluating the billing staff performance appraisal, taking feedback and provide coaching to raise the bar and ensure maximum efficiency.

• Supervising the employees in terms of billing procedures, policies and monthly targets to maintain the discipline and ensure that the work is timely & well-managed.

• Supporting Human resources with internal client reporting, budgeting & analysis.

Experience & Qualification:

• MBA (Finance)/ACCA qualified/CA part qualified with articleship completed from a reputed firm of Chartered Accountant.

• 5+ years of in similar position, people, team management skill is essential.

• Self-driven, forward looking, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus.

• Ability to lead, plan and manage change.

• Management of Internal Reporting & forecasting for the operational aspects of the business, including management of operations risks & opportunities.

• Flexibility and comfortable working in a fast-paced matrix reporting environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Positive thinking, motivated and collaborative team player.

• In depth knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and deliverance of commercial strategy.
