Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Delivery
● Deliver high-quality dashboards and reports to support business, product, and client decision-making.
● Execute against reporting and analysis requests from internal stakeholders in a timely and reliable manner.
● Support the ongoing delivery of Intelligence Reports and Performance Reports for the SaaS platform and enterprise clients where required.
● Take ownership of assigned workstreams and follow tasks through from request to completion.
Technical Oversight
● Write and maintain SQL queries within BigQuery to extract and analyse data from core sources including product databases and Stripe.
● Leverage AI tools to increase efficiency in data access and querying, including rapid SQL generation, documentation, and complex data pattern exploration.
● Build and maintain dashboards using Google Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Retool.
● Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used in dashboards and reports.
● Investigate data-related issues and anomalies, identifying root causes and working with relevant teams to resolve them.
● Contribute to improving data access patterns and reporting structures; data modelling experience is a plus but not required.
Collaboration & Communication
● Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
● Assist with investigating issues raised by merchants or clients, particularly where data analysis is required to diagnose or explain behaviour.
● Provide clear, practical explanations of data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
● Support limited client-facing interactions, with scope to increase exposure over time, particularly for high-touch enterprise clients.
Process & Continuous Improvement
● Perform manual and ad-hoc operational tasks to support the business.
● Continuously analyse and identify opportunities for broad process improvement and streamlining across BI and operational workflows.
● Proactively explore and utilise emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance personal productivity and execute on the automation of routine tasks.
● Bring an operations-minded, continuous improvement approach to day-to-day work.
Skills & Experience:
● Experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, Analytics, or Operations-focused role.
● Strong SQL proficiency and confidence writing queries to retrieve and analyse required data.
● Experience working with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
● Hands-on experience with reporting, data visualisation, and dashboard tools such as Looker Studio, Google Sheets, or similar.
● Experience with Retool is highly regarded.
● A capability or proven interest in leveraging emerging AI tools to drive efficiency and operational improvement.
● Scripting experience (e.g. Python or similar) is highly regarded.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
● Comfortable balancing data-focused work and operational tasks.
● An interest in process improvement and operational automation.
