• Job title: Business Intelligence Analyst 
• Job Type: Permanent
• Location: Ellesmere Port - Head Office, On-site 
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
• Salary: Up to £34,000 pa DOE 
Overview of the role: 
• To research, identify, and evaluate mergers & acquisitions related to company growth strategy 
• Performing industry research to help Business Managers stay ahead of trends and developments 
• Translating complex market data into clear actionable reports, delivering results to SLT and stakeholders 
• Using market databases such as Capital, IQ, Pitchbook, Mergemarket 
• Delivering meaningful business opportunity reports with reasons aligning to business strategy 
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a working knowledge of understanding company profiles, ownership and commercial propositions. 
You will also have all of the following: 
• Degree within a Business, Financial or Economic field  
• Experience within an investment or MA setting 
• Dealing with internal and external stakeholders  
• Full Driving license for use in the UK
