Business Development Senior Specialist

Summary : Amadeus is seeking a Business Development Senior Specialist to advance new initiatives and partnerships that support our regional and long-term strategy. You will work both independently and collaboratively across teams, serve as a resource to colleagues, and shape early-stage opportunities into scalable outcomes. Helps shape decisions, anticipate challenges, works on cross-functional projects, suggest improvements, and takes responsibility for results.
Works independently with a clear plan, asking for guidance only on complex issues.

Specific accountabilities

Business Development

Lead small to medium-sized business initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment; support the Business Development Manager on larger initiatives or analyses.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, and partner outreach.
Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships—independently and in collaboration with other business units (BUs), that align with Amadeus’ short- and long-term regional strategy.


Project / Start -Up Management

After approval of a new business initiative, define the work plan, engage relevant stakeholders (e.g., product, finance, legal), and manage early-stage execution to validate value and feasibility.
Provide interim project leadership for new initiatives and prepare a structured handover to the receiving operational team (line management) for ongoing ownership.

Ideal Candidate :

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
5-7 years of sales experience in an IT environment using digital tools with good exposure in data analysis, sales processes, and working with KPIs.
Understanding of and/or prior experience with the travel industry & hospitality environment is desirable and will be treated as an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate opportunities and build business cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
Comfortable working in dynamic environments, managing ambiguity, and driving initiatives from concept to execution.
