As we continue to expand, we are hiring Sales Representatives across multiple market segments including SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise.
Position Summary
As a Sales Representative at KCH Transportation, you will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your assigned market segment. Depending on experience and background, you may focus on:
SMB Accounts: $100M–$250M revenue customers with recurring freight needs
Mid-Market Accounts: $250M–$500M revenue customers with scalable logistics challenges
Enterprise Accounts: $500M+ revenue organizations with complex, high-volume supply chains
You will develop consultative relationships, design multimodal freight solutions, and lead strategic sales conversations that result in long-term partnerships and sustainable revenue growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prospect, identify, and secure new customers within assigned market segment
Develop tailored multimodal freight brokerage solutions (TL, LTL, intermodal, expedited, cross-border, etc.)
Conduct discovery conversations to understand supply chain challenges and business objectives
Lead presentations, proposals, RFPs, and contract negotiations (segment dependent)
Build relationships with key stakeholders ranging from logistics managers to executive-level decision-makers
Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure successful onboarding and service execution
Maintain accurate pipeline management, activity tracking, forecasting, and account notes in CRM
Stay informed on logistics trends, capacity shifts, and market conditions to proactively identify growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We are open to sales professionals at various stages of their career. Ideal candidates will bring:
Experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation sales
Demonstrated success in B2B prospecting and account development
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Ability to manage sales cycles ranging from transactional to highly strategic and complex
Confidence presenting transportation solutions to logistics stakeholders and executive leaders
Strong organizational skills and disciplined CRM management
Competitive drive with a long-term relationship mindset
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or related field preferred
1–5+ years of sales experience (level and segment aligned based on background)
Experience with multimodal freight solutions preferred
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), TMS systems, and Microsoft Office tools
Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
