Founded in 2020, MedTech World was created to connect startups, investors, service providers, and decision-makers shaping the future of Medical and HealthTech. What started as an initiative rooted in Malta has grown into a global platform, with active operations across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.

We have launched four summits across four continents in four quarters, and we’re expanding our commercial team and opening conversations with high-performing sales managers who want to help scale a global brand.

The Opportunity

This is not a one-size-fits-all role.

We’re open to speaking with:

Business Development professionals based in Malta or looking to relocate, focusing on North American, European or global markets

Business Development professionals based in Asia, focusing on Asian markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Southeast Asia

Strong sales hunters who can open doors, build pipelines, and close deals, regardless of whether they come from events, MedTech, or healthcare

If you know how to build relationships, sell value, and convert conversations into partnerships, we want to talk.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your background and market focus, you would:

Identify and secure sponsorships, partnerships, and strategic collaborations

Build relationships with corporates, startups, investors, hospitals, service providers, and ecosystem leaders

Develop and pitch commercial proposals aligned with our global summits and initiatives

Travel the world with MedTech World at industry events, meetings, and networking forums

Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing

Act as a key connector between your region and MedTech World’s global platform

An experienced BD Manager with a strong regional network

A sales hunter with a track record of closing complex or high-value deals

From MedTech, HealthTech, events, SaaS, media, or B2B services

Comfortable working independently, building your own pipeline, and being accountable for results

Industry experience is a plus. Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building skills matter more.
