Do you want to shape and scale a strategic partnership model that will strengthen Netcompany’s position in the German market? If so, you might be our new Business Development Manager.

 

Tasks

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Netcompany's partner landscape to support sales efforts, market positioning, and long-term business development – particularly within the public sector and major transformation projects.

The role combines strategic analysis with relationship building and operational execution, and will act as a link between market insights, partner engagement, and concrete business opportunities.

You will help ensure a clear strategic direction across domains, geographies, platforms, and products.

The position will involve close collaboration with the sales organization, domain experts, bid teams, and management to ensure that partnerships are converted into tangible commercial value and a strengthened market position.

• Develop and refine a scalable strategic partnership model across domains, geographies, and platforms
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners to drive joint market positioning and pipeline growth
• Monitor public tenders and translate market insights into partnership recommendations and bid strategies
• Coordinate joint go‑to‑market initiatives, including events, and strategic materials
• Contribute to cross‑organizational business development, aligning partner strategy with overall market priorities

About you

The position requires solid experience with business development, partner management, or strategic sales – preferably at the intersection of technology, consulting, and public sector clients. You thrive in navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and can translate strategic insights into concrete commercial opportunities.

We expect you to have:

• Proven experience in building strategic partnerships or partner ecosystems
• An understanding of public tenders and market dynamics
• Ability to translate market insights into concrete strategic initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience driving cross‑organizational collaboration without direct line authority
•  Fluency in both German and English
