Description
🌍 Redefining how people live.
At Blueground, we believe that when your base is reliable, the world opens up. That’s why we’re building the world’s leading platform for living.
Every year, 350 million people move between cities—yet today’s housing options haven’t caught up with the needs of this modern, mobile generation. Blueground was built to change that.
With 40,000+ homes across the globe, available for stays from a few days to a year or more, we’re just getting started. We’re on an exponential growth path to redefine living and create an entirely new category. Our edge? Powerful proprietary tech, operational excellence, and a team that executes with speed and discipline.
Our culture is grounded in five principles:
Guests First – Every decision starts with their experience.
Move Fast – We value speed, momentum, and action.
Dive In – The magic is always in the details, and we go deep.
Embrace Change – Change isn’t a disruption; it’s how we grow.
Keep It Honest – Transparency accelerates progress—and strengthens relationships.
If you’re ready to do the best work of your life and help reshape how the world lives, we’d love to meet you.
The Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager – Partner Network(Individual Contributor) to join our Growth team and help scale Blueground’s Partner Network, a strategic new vertical focused on expanding supply for medium- to long-term stays. This role centers on outbound partner acquisition, working with companies, operators, and owners of furnished apartments (from 5 units to thousands). You’ll operate in a startup-within-a-startup environment, where processes are still being built, experimentation is encouraged, and a scrappy, hands-on approach with high ownership over execution is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partner Outreach & Acquisition: Proactively identify, research, and reach out to companies, operators, and owners of furnished apartments to grow the Partner Network.
Outbound Execution: Execute high-volume outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, and other channels to consistently build and progress a qualified partner pipeline.
Partner Qualification & Sales Conversations: Lead initial discovery conversations to assess partner fit, understand portfolio structure and operating models, and clearly communicate the value of Blueground’s Partner Network.
Pipeline Ownership (Early Funnel): Own the partner journey from first contact through qualification, ensuring a smooth and structured handover to the onboarding team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with onboarding, engineering, and growth stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient partner activation.
Process Discipline & Organization: Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, follow-ups, and documentation in CRM tools to ensure visibility and consistent execution.
Operational Rigor in Ambiguity: Thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment by bringing structure, consistency, and results where processes are still being built.
Requirements
4–6+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or growth, ideally in real estate, hospitality, or a tech-enabled marketplace
Proven outbound / hunter mindset, with experience owning pipeline generation and early-stage partner acquisition
Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where processes are still being built
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to external partners
Highly organized and disciplined, capable of managing multiple conversations and priorities in parallel
Comfortable using CRM systems and outbound tools to track activity, performance, and follow-ups
Data-driven and execution-focused, with a strong bias toward action and results
Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong plus
Nice to Have / Plus
Experience with Apollo (or similar outbound and sequencing tools)
Familiarity with Front or shared inbox / communication platforms
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
Benefits
Competitive salary with performance-based bonus
Flexible paid time off
Group Health Insurance program
High-ownership role within a new, fast-growing business model
Opportunity to build something from the ground up and have a direct impact on growth
Dynamic, collaborative working environment with experienced, driven teammates
Flexible work environment through our Blueground Nomads employee mobility program
Complimentary accommodation in Blueground locations—think summer in LA and winter in Dubai
