Role Responsibilities
The role of Business Development Manager is part of our Growth team, reporting into the Head of Sales. The core focus of the role is to be responsible for a specific region, driving new business as well as supporting existing firms for both our portfolio and platform products. Key responsibilities are:
Manage the end-to-end sales process for new clients as well as supporting existing customers
Develop a strategic approach to increasing our presence in the region to ensure targets are achieved
Run local events to target prospects and build relationships
Provide sales and forecast reporting by product
Become an expert on our Portfolios and Platform to build rich knowledge on how our product propositions can add value to Financial Adviser firms
Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations
Support Business Development Consultants with advice and expertise
Collaborate with your dedicated Adviser Success Manager to ensure a best-in-class service to existing clients, maximising inflow potential
Role Requirements
Absolute must-haves:
Sales experience within the Financial Services industry, managing large corporate client accounts
Target driven and results focused, with a proven record of achieving high-growth targets
Commercially focused with a strategic mindset
Strong market knowledge with the ability to identify new opportunities
Expert negotiation and communication skills
Analytical and detail-orientated
Product-focused to ensure alignment with customer needs
Committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience
Effective collaboration skills working across the commercial function
Nice to-haves:
Experience working for a Fintech in the DFM space
