Job Overview: 

We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow our footprint in drone equipment and solutions. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to represent Volatus Drones as part of a global aerospace group, selling advanced hardware, aerial services, and training to a wide range of industries.

Working closely with the Volatus Drones team — and collaborating with the wider Volatus sales network — you’ll play a key role in bringing cutting-edge drone technology to customers across Canada.

 

What You’ll Do:

Drive Growth – Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand drone equipment and solutions in the Canadian market.

Build Relationships – Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with clients across energy, defence, public safety, infrastructure, and beyond.

Consult & Recommend – Conduct needs assessments to provide tailored solutions that position Volatus Drones as the partner of choice.

Close Deals – Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.

Collaborate & Contribute – Support lead generation and brand visibility by working closely with the marketing team.

Influence Innovation – Share customer insights with product and engineering teams to shape future offerings.

Stay Organized – Keep CRM records accurate and up to date with all activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress.

 

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in technology, aviation, or equipment sectors.

Interest in (or knowledge of) drone technology and its applications across industries (preferred but not required).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a hybrid/remote working environment.

Willingness to travel across Canada for client meetings and visits to our Vaughan HQ.
