WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Lead to join our team in Ulsan, South Korea. AHK Korea provides services to the mining, metals, refining and recycling industries in a variety of capacities including auditing, supervision, sampling and analysis of metals and minerals derived from the previously mentioned practices.
This role will be responsible for expanding AHK Korea’s business opportunities by cultivating relationships with clients and understanding market changes, learning about new market participants and identifying decision makers. The incumbent will also represent AHK to attend client and industry events to gain knowledge on market drivers and competitive forces. Other tasks include managing accounts to exceed customer satisfaction while meeting objectives of the business and responding to business inquiries from existing and potential clients.

Required Work Experience
Proven track record of working in the Testing Inspection and certification industry, in particular, the Minerals and Metals sector
Experience working in a client-facing role, with excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge
Experience in reviewing market and client information to identify opportunities
Experience and demonstrated success in working in a cross-border, international, matrix structure organisation
Experience selling complex solutions B2B to multinational companies in a relevant, global environment
Required Qualifications
Educated to degree level in a related discipline
Required Languages
Fluent in English and Korean (Both written and spoken in business communication)
