Business Development Internship

We are looking for a business development intern that wants to supercharge the start of their career at the intersection of AI and global business. This is not an internship where you sit on the sidelines; at Redpine, you will work directly with our founding team (ex-McKinsey, VC, Spotify) to build the partnerships that power the next generation of AI models. You will be in the engine room of a high-growth startup, helping us map global markets, identify high-value data owners, and operationalize our commercial pipeline. Key responsibilities

• Partner Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively identify key decision-makers and find creative ways to open doors and secure meetings with potential data partners.

• Deal Execution: Work alongside the founders to drive momentum in the partnership pipeline, crafting/revising pitch decks and strategic narratives that convert interest into action.

• Market Intelligence: Research and map global data landscapes to uncover high-value opportunities and hidden gems in sectors like science, media, finance, and more.

• Commercial Operations: Maintain our CRM and commercial infrastructure to ensure our pipeline data is accurate and we can move with speed as we scale.

• Ad-hoc Projects: Support the wider team with strategic initiatives and administrative tasks to remove friction and accelerate deal flow.

Qualifications

• Strong track record: Current student or recent graduate in Business, Engineering, or similar field, who has consistently performed at a high level in academics or extracurriculars.

• Entrepreneurial mindset: You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is willing to "roll up your sleeves" to get the job done, no matter the task. Strong bias for action.

• Strong communicator: You have excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for senior stakeholders.

• Agile fast learner: You grasp technical and commercial concepts quickly, have a genuine interest in AI, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience is a plus: Previous work in high-growth startups, consulting, or VC - or knowledge of sectors like media, finance, or healthcare - is a strong advantage.
