Why This Role Matters:
As a Business Development Intern (m/f/d) in our Large Asset Squad, you work at the heart of Rabot Energy's fastest-growing customer segment — households with electric vehicles, wallboxes, heat pumps, and PV systems. You operate at the intersection of Operations, Commercial, Product, and Partnerships. You bridge the gap between these functions to build an ideal customer journey and bring our product closer to market.
This role offers hands-on learning in how a small, cross-functional squad of 10 people drives growth inside a Unicorn.
Start with us preferably on April 1st, 2026 & bring along 4–6 months to fully dive into your energy‑packed adventure with us.
What You’ll Do:
• Daily Operations & Execution: You tackle what comes up—from process issues to data requests — and keep the squad running smoothly while supporting its long -term strategic direction.
• KPI Analysis & Market Intelligence: You run internal performance analyses and external market screenings to identify improvement potential and new opportunities.You provide the data foundation for smarter squad decisions.
• Commercial & Customer Journey Work: You focus on operational and commercial tasks that strengthen the experience for our existing product You think from the customer's perspective and help shape what truly matters to them.
• Cross-Functional Bridge Building: You connect Product, Tech, Marketing, and Partnerships to establish a unified communication flow. You prevent silos before they form and ensure alignment across thes quad's stake holders.
• Ad-Hoc Squad Support: You jump into topics as they arise — whether it's preparing a pitch, supporting a campaign, building ananalysis,or solving a sudden operational challenge.
What You Bring:
• Education: You are currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a university in Entrepreneurship, Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: You have already gained first experience through internships in a Startup, Consulting, Business Development, Operations, or a goal-oriented environment.
• Curiosity: You enjoy understanding the "Big Picture." You are interested in how different parts of a company interact (Product, Sales, Tech, Finance) — and how they serve the customer together.
• Energy Sector Interest: A good understanding of the energy space is a plus — but not a must. Genuine curiosity is what counts.
• AI-Literacy: You responsibly integrate AI tools into your work to increase efficiency.
• Languages: Fluency in German (C1+) and English (C1+) is required.
What Success Looks Like (First 3 months):
• Independence: The Squad trusts you to handle sub-projects independently and deliver reliable work.
• Growth: You have rapidly absorbed the Rabot business model and the Large Asset segment, and actively contribute ideas to squad discussions.
• Impact: You have created at least one key analysis, process improvement, or presentation that was used for a squad or leadership decision.
