This is a senior management role for a leader who excels at the intersection of creative entrepreneurship and rigorous commercial strategy. You will not just manage a pipeline; you will define how The Boundary wins in diverse markets, navigating complex cultural, economic, and geographical landscapes to secure long-term, profitable partnerships.
What you will do

• Entrepreneurial Sales Development: Build consistent revenue streams through all possible channels, developing bespoke solutions to acquire and retain business where traditional models may not yet exist.
• End-to-End Customer Experience: Overhaul the customer journey, from initial communication to final installation, to ensure a seamless, world-class experience at every touchpoint.
• High-Stakes Relationship Management: Take meaningful ownership of existing client relationships, nurturing them at the highest levels to secure repeat revenue and long-term loyalty.
• Studio & Production Synergy: Work closely with the Head of Production to understand studio capacity and ensure fee proposals are commercially aggressive yet operationally deliverable.
• Innovation & Product Feedback Loop: Partner with creative and engineering teams to scope new pitching tools, translating direct client feedback into actionable briefs to evolve our product feature sets.
• Leadership & Regional Scaling: Lead the long-term development of the Sales function across APAC, including the strategic recruitment and setup of new team members in emerging regional locations.
• Commercial Integrity & Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to global selling and trade policies while maintaining an administratively flawless CRM for accurate revenue forecasting
Requirements:
• Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience as a Head of Sales, Head of Key Accounts, or a similar senior leadership role.
• Global Perspective: Expert ability to motivate and drive decisions within a global management team and across diverse cultures.
• Strategic Acumen: Sound judgment with the ability to balance detailed problem-solving with bigger picture business goals.
• High-Level Negotiation: Outstanding influence skills to deal effectively with a broad range of customers in complex situations.
• Strategic RFP & Proposal Management: Prepare sophisticated RFPs, fee proposals, and sales contracts, ensuring they are competitive, accurate, and fully compliant with local laws.
• Market Expansion & Outreach: Actively hunt in existing territories (New Zealand, Australia) while strategically breaking ground in new regions across Asia.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Represent The Boundary at key industry events and on LinkedIn, maximising networking opportunities to build regional brand authority.
• Product Expertise & Feedback: Develop a deep understanding of our technical products and the broader market landscape, seeking client feedback to brief our development teams on improvements.
• Education: Tertiary level degree in Business or a related field.
