The Team

AQR is looking to hire a full-time Analyst to join our EMEA Business Development group, based in our Greenwich headquarters. The group works with AQR’s clients in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East to provide solutions to achieve their investment objectives. AQR clients include a cross-section of the world’s largest institutional investors, such as public and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and foundations and endowments. AQR also serves the private-wealth community, including independent wealth managers, family offices, and private banks.

Your Role

Specific responsibilities vary from team to team within Business Development, but generally include some or all of the following:

• Provide support to senior members of the Business Development team whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with investors.

• Develop strong AQR product and asset class knowledge and demonstrate interest in the industry.

• Liaise with other members of Business Development to update marketing materials and leverage the firm’s intellectual capital (e.g., coordinate the distribution of AQR white papers, webinars and analysis).

• Ensure the completion of Requests for Proposal/Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires to a high standard in a timely fashion coordinating with other parts of the business.

• Interact with portfolio managers to help create and maintain up-to-date, high quality presentation materials.

• Act as a point of contact for existing investors and be responsible for marshaling the full resources of the firm to coordinate responses to all investor inquiries.

• Coordinate client meetings and conference calls with investors.

• Act as a central point of contact internally for sustainability related projects and investor inquiries.

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a Science, Quantitative, or Engineering Program from a top university is preferred.

• 1-3 years’ of relevant post-undergraduate experience within a professional services environment; financial services, investment management and management consultant backgrounds are a plus.

• High degree of intellectual curiosity.

• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.

• Excellent academic credentials.

• While this role supports the EMEA team, this seat will be based at our headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut.

The salary range for this role is expected to be $110,000 to $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs. This wage range may also be modified in the future.
