A strategic role responsible for managing end-to-end product costing activities for Crop Protection operations across all global regions. The position focuses on delivering accurate costing data, maintaining master data integrity, and driving process standardization while supporting global stakeholders in budgeting and reporting requirements.
 
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Business Consultant to join Syngenta, where you'll design, deliver, and deploy innovative solutions that transform how we operate globally. This is a multi-functional role offering end-to-end involvement from concept to deployment, working at the intersection of finance, technology, and business transformation.
What You'll Do
Design & Deliver Solutions
• Lead end-to-end solution design and delivery for small and large business requirements aligned with Syngenta's GSM standards
• Drive fit-gap sessions with business stakeholders, researching processes and gathering requirements
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and review solution designs
• Collaborate with our System Implementation partners and Application Support teams to ensure successful delivery
Manage Stakeholders & Integration
• Act as the bridge between Business users, IS organization, Business Architecture, and cross-tower teams
• Manage cross-functional integration points across Production & Supply, Sales & Distribution, MDM, and Data & Information teams
• Review and approve key deliverables including Solution Design Documents, FRS, and Testing plans
Lead Implementation & Support
• Provide steady-state support for small change delivery
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training for business users
• Track and resolve hypercare issues post-deployment
• Work with cutting-edge technologies
What You'll Bring
Essential Experience
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Finance and Procurement processes including:
• Invoice-to-Pay (I2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Accounts Payable & Receivable, General Ledger
• Internal & External Reporting, Treasury
• Costing, FP&A, Asset Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting
• Materials Management & Procurement
Technical Expertise
• Proven SAP Finance, Controlling, and Procurement implementation experience
• Strong understanding of SAP module integration (FI, CO, MM with other modules)
• Experience writing Functional Specifications for ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle
Leadership & Initiative
• Demonstrated success leading Automation projects
• Ability to take initiative and drive projects independently
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA in Finance required
