We’re looking for a motivated BC QA engineer to join our team, support users, and grow their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, take on new challenges, and deepen their skills in ERP administration.
Responsibilities
• Planning and execution of testing for functional changes, integrations, and extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Development, maintenance, and execution of test cases, checklists, and test plans for manual testing and, if needed, test automation.
• Verification of integrations between Business Central and other systems (Payroll, DMS, Power BI, MSW, REST API, OData) to ensure correct data exchange and compliance with technical requirements.
• Analysis of specifications and technical tasks, participation in defining requirements from the testing perspective.
• Identification, logging, and classification of bugs, creating bug reports in the task management system (Jira).
• Participation in regression testing and release cycle support: preparing test data, monitoring test execution, and supporting post-update checks.
• Collaboration with developers, analysts, and administrators to clarify expected logic, reproduce bugs, and verify fixes.
• Use of test environments (sandbox, test), checking the impact of changes on the production environment and integrations.
• Documentation of identified issues, updating test documentation, and participation in knowledge sharing within the team.
• Providing suggestions for improving testing processes, optimizing integration testing approaches, and automation.
