We are currently looking for a Business Applications Analyst as part of our IT Division, for our Commercial Web Portals, including websites, customer & retail interaction portals. Role’s objective is to align our customer-facing web platforms with business goals and operational excellence. Focus will be on continuous enhancement of our web portals, ensuring they are stable, secure, and user-friendly, while simplifying processes and enabling the business to move faster and more accurately.
What will you do:
• Act as the bridge between business units and IT, gathering requirements, clarifying objectives, and translating needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive enhancements, integrations, and improvements across the portal ecosystem (APIs, identity, payments, content, analytics).
• Define and support UAT, create test scenarios, coordinate execution, and verify that delivered changes meet functional requirements and quality standards.
• Document as-is / to-be processes, portal workflows, user journeys, and operating procedures to ensure clarity, governance and traceability.
• Partner with UI/UX and stakeholders to improve customer experience, navigation, and usability; contribute to interface requirements, prototypes and usability validation where needed.
• Support change management and releases (planning, regression scope, release notes, communications, rollout coordination) ensuring smooth transitions and minimal customer impact.
• Ensure high availability, stability, quality of services and timely resolution of incidents by providing effective support services, perform root cause analysis and escalate complex problems to higher-level teams or vendors when necessary.
• Contribute to service metrics and reporting (availability, incident trends, ticket aging/MTTR, defect patterns), supporting operational transparency and continuous improvement.
• Ensure portals comply with internal governance, operational procedures, and security policies/work instructions.
What you need to be successful:
• A BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis / design and application support / digital platforms (customer portals, websites, e-commerce, self-service platforms).
• Proven ability to gather requirements and produce clear functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• UI/UX sensibility for customer-facing portals: ability to capture UI requirements, identify friction points, and collaborate with designers/team
• Ability to map customer journeys across portals (self-service, sales and payments), identify usability bottlenecks, and propose changes that simplify processes and improve completion rates and user experience.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile ways of working, and with tools like Jira (or equivalent) for tracking and coordinating delivery/support work.
• Strong understanding of web platforms concepts (authentication/SSO principles, REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, environments, releases).
• Comfortable working with data and logs for troubleshooting and reporting; basic SQL literacy is useful but not required to be advanced.
• Good collaboration and teamworking skills.
• Be passionate about optimizing work processes.
• Good time management and organization skills.
• Good decision-making skills.
