Powtoon enables anyone to create AWESOME animated videos using a state-of-the-art web-based animation studio, using a large library of animated assets, all built according to the latest animation standards.
The Application Developer we are searching for will be part of Powtoon’s Business Application Development Team, reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO).
This role sits at the intersection of business and technology. You’ll develop and deploy innovative applications — combining Vibe Coding (low-code/no-code) and traditional coding - that support Powtoon’s growth strategy, streamline internal operations, and enable new revenue-generating initiatives.
You’ll work closely with the R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, building applications that improve go-to-market execution, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall productivity and scalability of Powtoon’s business operations.
What You Will Do
• Design, build, and deploy business applications using a mix of low-code/no-code platforms and standard coding languages.
• Collaborate with Powtoon’s R&D team to ensure your applications integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure, APIs, and data systems.
• Partner with Marketing, Creative and GTM teams to ensure applications align with Powtoon brand, UX, and messaging guidelines
• Develop internal applications that support operations, marketing, and revenue enablement initiatives.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, proposing new tools or approaches that align with Powtoon’s strategic priorities and tech ecosystem.
• Test, document, and maintain applications to ensure high reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements, iterate rapidly, and deliver impactful, business-driven solutions.
• Take initiative and drive innovation, identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver measurable business outcomes through technology.

By taking full ownership of your work and constantly asking, "How can we do this smarter?", you act as a strategic partner who turns complex business needs into high-impact products
Requirements:
• 2–4 years of experience as an Application Developer, Solutions Developer, or similar hands-on development role.
• Proven substantial experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Base44, Loveable, Google, Make, Zapier) .
• Experience in traditional coding (JavaScript, Python, APIs)
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills; ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and curiosity.
• Willingness to work a s project based contractor
• Full proficiency in English (Written and Spoken) - MUST
• Experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment- an advantage
• Familiarity with GTM processes (marketing, sales, and customer success workflows).- an advantage
• Exposure to AI-driven automation, data pipelines, or analytics tools- an advantage
