Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for an Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your Tasks:

• Working closely with stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritise, analyse and validate business needs and solution requirements;
• Assist the Team Coordinator/ Release manager to maintain the product and iteration backlogs;
• Work with Agile Project Management tools / DevOps platform (e.g., Azure DevOps);
• Support the business analyst, project manager and business stakeholders with decision making;
• Prepare and maintain the software requirement specification;
• Workshop organisation and facilitation (on-site or online);
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis;
• Work with team(s) of analyst(s), developer(s), application tester(s) etc. to ensure (i) a common understanding of the needs, (ii) sufficient quality and appropriate coverage of test cases, (iii) a sound technical design supporting the defined requirements;
• Produce and maintain business analysis outputs, including use cases, requirements, mock-ups, user stories, and data models. Verify and validate requirements. Manage requirements traceability;
• Produce technical documents;
• Review and editing of technical documentation authored by others;
• Writing and maintaining technical and end-user documentation for information systems during and after their development;
• Verifying the technical and end-user documentation against applications;
• Producing IT technical documentation in the context of Proof of Concepts and Feasibility Studies.


Requirements:
• University degree with minimum 6 years’ experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 10 years of experience in IT;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analysis related to IT software development and maintenance projects, software product lifecycle management;
• Experience working with work item management tools (e.g. DevOps Azure);
• Excellent technical writing skills;
• Excellent knowledge of UML;
• Proven knowledge and experience of Business Analysis for IT solutions;
• Advanced knowledge of industry Business Analysis best practice (e.g. BABOK);
• Advanced knowledge of Agile Project Management practices (e.g. DevOps, Scrum);
• Good understanding of ArchiMate;
• Ability to collect requirements remotely using appropriate techniques (e.g. MS Teams) to achieve a high quality of documented requirements;
• Knowledge of and valid certification in at least one Agile Project Management methodology (e.g. DevOps, Scrum, Agile Practitioner) will be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
