About the role

As a Business Analyst Salesforce, you will join the Systems Development team and play a key role in driving continual systems improvement, with a strong focus on Salesforce-based solutions. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, you’ll translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support effective system design and delivery.

This role suits someone who enjoys working independently with stakeholders, improving processes, and ensuring business objectives are accurately reflected in well-designed system solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Work independently with stakeholders to define business problems and opportunities, ensuring objectives and perspectives are clearly understood
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements using interviews, workshops, and process analysis
• Translate business needs into clear, structured Salesforce requirements and solution designs
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, and QA teams throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Produce and maintain high-quality business analysis artefacts, including: Requirements specifications, Process flows, System and functional documentation
• Prepare test data and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations, quality standards, and acceptance criteria

Requirements:
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a systems or software development environment
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, ideally including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning experience, Custom Salesforce functionality
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly: Requirements definition, Validation, Acceptance testing
• Experience working within Agile / Scrum or hybrid delivery frameworks
• Practical experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into clear, practical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to Have:
• Experience working on Salesforce transformation or systems improvement initiatives
• Exposure to cross-functional enterprise environments with multiple stakeholder groups
• Familiarity with change management or process optimisation activities
• Salesforce certifications or formal business analysis qualifications
