Role Summary
The Business Analyst, Revenue sits at the intersection of Revenue, Finance, and Systems. This role is responsible for defining, modeling, and reporting on the core metrics that drive revenue performance across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support and Finance.
You will own metric definitions, forecasting models, and support executive reporting while partnering closely with Revenue leaders and Finance to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and actionability. This role is hands-on, analytical, and embedded directly in revenue decision-making.
This role supports monthly commission reporting for Sales and Customer Success, owning the monthly calculation logic and Salesforce-based reporting in partnership with FP&A, and delivering standardized outputs to Finance, HR, and FP&A for review and execution.
What you will do
Revenue Intelligence & Forecasting
Own corporate revenue metric definitions including ARR, MRR, pipeline + conversion, bookings, win/loss, churn, expansion, CAC, LTV, and forecasting assumptions
Build and maintain revenue forecasting and scenario models in partnership with Finance and Revenue leadership
Revenue Systems Reporting & Data Integrity
Develop, maintain, and improve Salesforce reports and dashboards used by executives, Revenue leaders, and the Board
Ensure Salesforce data requirements related to opportunities, pipeline stages, close dates, and revenue attribution are being met
Collaborate with RevOps and Finance on reconciliations between Salesforce, billing systems, and financial reporting as required
Support monthly commission reporting for the Revenue organization
Build and maintain commission-supporting reports and data views in Salesforce to enable accurate payouts and performance tracking
Partner with RevOps and Finance to audit commission drivers, resolve discrepancies, and support plan changes or new incentive structures
GTM Analytics & Strategic Insights
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and CS leaders to translate business questions into analytical outputs
Support GTM planning cycles including quarterly forecasting, capacity modeling, and performance reviews
Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights that directly inform strategic and operational decisions
What you will bring
Must have 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, or similar role in a SaaS environment
Strong hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Salesforce
Proven experience with revenue modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue concepts and GTM motions
High attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy and speed
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Revenue leaders and Finance
Experience supporting variable compensation, commission reporting, or incentive-based performance metrics in a revenue organization
Experience working with billing or subscription systems
Working knowledge of HubSpot, particularly funnel reporting, attribution, and lifecycle stages
Familiarity with Board-level reporting and executive narratives
Experience supporting PE- or VC-backed SaaS organizations
