Join our Central Data & Analytics Team in Zürich as a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer with project management responsibilities and help translate business needs into impactful data and analytics solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities, define requirements, and support the delivery of analytics initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
• Analyze and translate business needs into requirements for data and analytics solutions, including the creation of conceptual and logical data models.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and define data-driven use cases, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead the planning and delivery of data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
• Coordinate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure successful implementation of requirements.
• Lead and manage internal data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment of objectives, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and backlog refinement, while tracking progress and managing risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to improving delivery processes, requirements engineering practices, and collaboration across the Data & Analytics ecosystem.
Your Expertise – Our Strength
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of proven experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or project leadership within data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data and analytics ecosystems (data platforms, BI tools, data pipelines, reporting) and experience translating business needs and business processes into structured technical requirements.
• Solid project management and stakeholder management capabilities with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
