Business Analyst - Product Information Management (PIM) [Luxury & Retail]

Join Adone Conseil's subsidiary in Milan as an IT Consultant, you will work for our clients as part of a project team member on subjects related to E-commerce, Data Management/BI, Supply Chain Management, and more.

You will participate in our clients' digital transformation (from the analysis of IT needs to the implementation of tailor-made solutions) by optimising business processes and their governance.

 

🎯 Your role :

• Analyze business processes related to product information (master data, attributes, variants, localization, digital assets).

• Gather, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.

• Design PIM data models, validation rules, and data quality workflows.

• Support data mapping and migration from legacy systems to the PIM platform.

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (APIs, ERP, DAM, e-commerce).

• Produce clear project documentation (user stories, process flows, interface specs, acceptance criteria).

• Perform functional testing and support go-live and post-go-live activities.

• Train and support client key users.

• Monitor data quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

🦸🏻‍♂️ Your profile :

• 1–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional/Technical Consultant, or similar role on PIM, MDM, or product data projects.

• Strong understanding of PIM concepts: attribute modeling, taxonomies, product variants, asset management.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering and writing user stories/specifications.

• Experience working with technical teams on API integrations and data migration (ETL).

• Proficiency in Excel and data mapping tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory).

• French (conversational or above) is a plus.

 

📢 Preferred Qualifications : 

• Hands-on experience with Salsify (configuration, data modeling, feed management).

• Experience with other PIM/MDM platforms such as Akeneo, inRiver, Riversand, or Informatica.

• Basic SQL or scripting skills for data extraction and transformation.

• Background in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments.
