The Business Analyst is responsible for defining, owning, and evolving software products related to online gaming platforms, ensuring alignment between business objectives, user needs, and technical execution. This role focuses on maximizing product value by prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, and guiding development teams with a clear product vision. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, the position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a solid understanding of software development, and the ability to balance regulatory, technical, and commercial requirements. The Business Analyst plays a key role in driving product strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision and roadmap for iGaming software platforms and related systems.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, regulatory constraints, risks, and dependencies.
Translate business, regulatory, and customer requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with development, QA, UX, compliance, and operations teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
Act as the main link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Validate delivered functionalities, ensuring they meet defined requirements, quality standards, and user expectations.
Ensure products comply with iGaming regulations, security standards, and responsible gaming policies.
Gather feedback from internal teams, clients, and end users to continuously improve the product.
Monitor product performance and contribute to data-driven decisions for future enhancements
Work experience and education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in a product-focused role within the iGaming or online entertainment industry, or in transactional systems such as reservations platforms, FinTech, or banking.
Strong understanding of iGaming platforms, system integrations (wallets, payment providers, game studios), and regulatory environments.
Solid knowledge of software development processes, agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering business value and user satisfaction.
Native Spanish and Fluent in English.
