Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst / Functional Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 F&O SCM) and experience in Fabrication /Manufacturing /Pipe/ Metal / Copper / Aluminium industry.
The role involves leading functional solution design, process transformation, SCM configuration governance, and deployment of D365 SCM modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Functional Leadership
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and process discovery for SCM streams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions with minimal customization.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation:
• Functional Design Documents (FDD)
• Configuration workbooks
• AS-IS / TO-BE process maps
• Requirement traceability matrices (RTM)
• Align functional solutions across Procurement, Inventory, WMS, Sales, Planning, and Finance integration.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reporting, and extensions.
2. Metal/Fabrication/ process /Manufacturing Industry Process Ownership
• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing processes in Metal/Fabrication/ process /Manufacturing Industry
• Good Knowledge of procure to Pay process
• Good Knowledge of Order to cash process
• Good knowledge of Supply chain processes
• Good knowledge of Warehousing processes (inbound, Outbound, warehouse management, yard management)
• Working knowledge of Scrap management, recycling processes
3. D365 SCM Module Leadership
• Procurement & Sourcing: Vendor setup, PR/PO workflows, purchase agreements, import procurement, landed cost, invoice matching.
• Inventory Management: Item model groups, storage/tracking dimensions, costing methods, batch/serial management, valuation processes.
• Warehouse Management (WMS): Wave processing, work templates, mobile device menus, cycle counting, inventory adjustments.
• Sales & Distribution: Order-to-cash lifecycle, pricing (per KG/MT), trade agreements, surcharges, and customer compliance (heat certificates, COA).
• Master Planning / MRP: Coverage groups, planning policies, planned order processing, safety stock, and production demand.
• Product Information Management: Released products, BOMs, categories, variants, and product lifecycle management.
• Production control and Execution
• Asset Management (Plant Maintenance)
Quality Control
Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM (F&O).
• Must have done at least 2 end to end D365 implementation in Manufacturing industries.
· Experience in Fabrication /Manufacturing /Pipe/ Metal / Copper / Aluminium industry (steel, aluminium, copper, cable manufacturing) is desirable.
• Experience in UAT/SIT, defect triage, and go-live support.
• Stakeholder management, documentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Microsoft certification preferred:
• MB-330 (D365 SCM Functional Consultant)
• MB-300 / MB-310 (optional)
