Job Description
Key Responsibilities
● Collaborates with clinical informatics teams and business analysts to analyze requirements and functional specifications to design clinical documents.
● Builds and maintains configuration items and clinical templates, including order forms, flowsheets, and logic controls.
● Supports the technical build phase and collaborates with stakeholders on the feasibility or limitations of requested system enhancements.
● Manages routine service maintenance items such as catalog updates, pharmacy items, and location changes.
● Supports system testing by troubleshooting technical issues and resolving bugs related to developed items.
● Ensures version control and proper documentation of all changes to maintain process integrity and audit readiness.
● Assists in production environment deployments and ensures a successful go-live following established change management protocols.
● Reports to the leadership of the configuration and technical services section.
Requirements:
• Collaborates with business analysts to prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on functional requirements.
• Performs System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate that solutions function correctly and comply with requirements before release.
• Executes both "happy path" and negative testing, along with regression testing for fixed issues, to ensure overall system stability.
• Partners with informatics teams and end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the enhancement meets the needs of the staff.
• Analyzes current and future state designs to conduct impact assessments, evaluating risks and dependencies for new requests.
• Identifies and documents process-blocking issues discovered during development and testing phases that require immediate resolution.
• Participates in the review process after deployment to evaluate success, document lessons learned, and identify performance concerns.
• Reports to the leadership of the functional and applications department.
