Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering requirements, bridging the gap between business and technical teams, and ensuring that solutions meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with stakeholders to document, and validate business requirements.
• Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and User Stories.
• Perform requirement analysis, identify process gaps, and propose improvement solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and validating results.
• Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed.
• Analyze and interpret data using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Assist in change management and ensure smooth adoption of new processes/systems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, surveys).
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Visio (or similar diagramming tools).
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
• Experience in [Domain — e.g., Banking, Insurance].
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or reporting systems.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, or Scrum Master (advantage).
