Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale IT transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on Target Operating Models (TOMs), cloud migration, and end-to-end process optimisation.

This role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering Future State Operating Models, ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders while driving measurable improvements in process efficiency, governance, and risk management.

You will operate confidently across both strategic and operational levels, working independently to define, analyse, and deliver complex change initiatives within dynamic and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Target Operating Model (TOM) Design & Transformation

•
Lead the design, assessment, and optimisation of IT Target Operating Models.

•
Facilitate the transition from Current Operating Models to Future State Operating Models.

•
Define governance structures, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making frameworks.

•
Support operating model maturity assessments and roadmap development.

Process Analysis & Optimisation

•
Conduct detailed end-to-end process mapping (as-is and to-be).

•
Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities.

•
Design scalable, risk-aware processes aligned to ITIL and cloud operating principles.

•
Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.

Stakeholder & Decision Management

•
Facilitate workshops and structured decision-making sessions.

•
Drive alignment across business, architecture, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.

•
Manage senior stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex dependencies.

•
Provide clear, executive-level reporting and communication.

Data & MI Capability

•
Clean, shape, and combine datasets to generate actionable insights.

•
Develop Management Information (MI) dashboards and performance metrics.

•
Support data-driven decision-making across transformation initiatives.

Risk & Governance

•
Identify operational and technical risks.

•
Contribute to risk assessments and control design.

•
Ensure compliance with governance standards, particularly in regulated environments.

Required Skills & Experience

•
Proven experience designing and implementing IT Target Operating Models.

•
Demonstrated ability to lead transition from Current to Future State Operating Models.

•
Strong process mapping expertise (as-is/to-be, value stream, service models).

•
Advanced visual diagramming skills using tools such as:

Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

Strong analytical and data manipulation capability.

Experience working within structured risk management frameworks.

Experience operating within complex or regulated IT environments.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience delivering data centre migrations, particularly from on-premise environments to AWS Cloud.

Strong understanding of on-prem infrastructure and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Experience managing technical dependencies and migration constraints.

•
Delivery of people, process, technology, and cultural change across IT “Change” and “Run” teams.

Exposure to hybrid cloud operating models.
