This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Business Analyst – Officer within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:
• Work closely with product owner to understand business requirements and their priorities;
• Analyze received business requirements, and break them into finer detail levels, and agree on their acceptance criteria with product owner;
• Interact with agile rooms regarding requirement clarification, process administration, DEMO walk through/approval, and production checkout/ validation;
• Convert business requirements into system specifications, and work closely with agile rooms to make sure no understanding gap, and the correct business values/ priorities are achieved;
• Continuously monitor and collect system run time information and provide feedbacks to product owner to ensure the correct business values/ priorities are achieved;
• Provide proactive and timely support to production monitoring and response regarding any production issues, and keep improving application resiliency;
• Continuously discover technical solutions to deliver more business values.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should be:
• Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Finance, Accounting, or related business disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation
• Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization
• Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement
• Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas
Certification nice to haves:
CFA or CPA certification
Candidates should exhibit working knowledge of the following key skills and proficiencies:
• Experienced Excel practitioners. Solid analysis skills and be able to do data mining/analysis using SQL query, and/ or script languages. Automation skills like Python, Power Automate etc. is a plus.
• Solid communication skills and proficient in English speaking, reading and writing – CET4 is a must.
• Solid knowledge in financial service industry, especially about middle/back office operation.
• Open, self-motivated and good teamwork spirit. Be able to melt into a new environment and team quickly, and interface with different styles of people, and achieve best outcomes;
