About The Role::
YAPEAL is transforming the financial landscape through Embedded Finance. To strategically build and scale our footprint in accounts and cards for businesses - focusing on high-potential distribution partnerships and associated corporate clients - we are seeking a Business Development Manager who combines high-level consultative sales with relentless, hands-on execution.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and work closely with our CEO. You are not just joining a team, you are acting as a central architect of our commercial growth in B2B.


Expect a Day Full of::
• Strategic Partner Enablement: Develop and empower distribution partners into strong strategic multipliers as well as identify, acquire, and facilitate the onboard high-potential corporate clients.

• Drive Sell-Through Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute joint go-to-market initiatives to engage our partners' end-customers. You will leverage webinars, targeted email sequences, and discovery calls to generate traction.

• Consultative Selling: Drive adoption of our business accounts and cards by translating complex client requirements into existing solutions, maximizing the use of our solutions, and identifying new use cases.

• Unapologetically Hands-on Execution: You don't just design the strategy; you bring it to life. Collaborating with our marketing team, you will actively roll up your sleeves to create high-impact pitch decks, write compelling enablement materials, and personally drive campaign execution.


Who We’re Looking For::
• Fierce Self-Starter Mentality: You are a "high-agency" professional who thrives in an environment with extreme ownership and zero micro-management. You don't wait for a playbook - you write it. You identify opportunities independently, craft the plan, and execute it with relentless drive.

• Strategic & Conceptual Strength: You possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, backed by 2-3 years of experience in a highly strategic, commercial, or partnership-driven role. A background in management consulting is a strong plus, but your proven ability to think conceptually and act decisively is what truly matters.

• Bilingual Proficiency (non-negotiable): Absolute fluency in both (Swiss-) German and English to seamlessly navigate high-level discussions, present confidently, and draft compelling copy in both languages.

• Compelling Communicator: You excel at breaking down complex topics into engaging narratives, whether you are hosting a webinar or presenting to an executive board.

• Conceptual Firepower over Industry Jargon: A background in Finance, Payments, or Fintech is a nice-to-have, but secondary. We highly prioritize your strategic sharpness and ability to quickly master complex business models. You bring the entrepreneurial drive, and we will gladly equip you with all the technical platform knowledge you need.
