About the role
We are seeking skilled and experienced senior building services engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidates will design and develop, mechanical services through Stages 1 to 5 of the construction process. This challenging and rewarding position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Checking and reviewing plans and calculations for Mechanical Services systems prepared by Junior Engineers
Maintain records and files of all completed engineering work
Supervision of Junior engineering design staff
Manage project design workflow program
Managing of project stakeholders throughout the design process
Attendance and recording of any project specific/design meeting
Completion of Site surveys and reports
Provide engineering support to senior design staff
Support ad-hoc activities assigned by senior staff from time to time
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services or mechanical engineering
5+ years of experience in designing and developing building services systems (mechanical)
Strong knowledge of mechanical services engineering principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Awareness of CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS and EN Standards
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Software
Any other engineering analysis software is an advantage
Understanding and awareness of sustainable engineering systems design
