We are working with one of the most prestigious managing agents in the UK in the recruitment for a Building Manager at modern building in the heart of Reading. The business operates successfully across the country in a multitude of different properties and will provide you with the opportunity for a vibrant career.
For this position, we are looking for a Building or Facilities Manager who has experience managing Buildings in a similar environment.
Where:
• Reading City Centre.
• A commercial property with a modern and vibrant look.
What:
• You will manage and oversee the service charge budget for the building.
• You will be the main point of contact for tenant enquiries and chair and tenant meetings when required.
• As the Building Manager, you will oversee all hard and soft services at the property and manage all contractors on the site.
• You will ensure that risk assessments are conducted, manage Health & Safety requirements and lead on Environmental management.
Who:
• You should have experience working for a managing agent in a similar setting with multiple tenants at the property.
• You must have the ability to building and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• For this role, you must have service charge budget management experience.
• You must have experience managing contractors.
• You should have a strong understanding of Health and Safety in a similar setting.
