Building Grounds Maintenance Assistant- 1st Shift

The Building Grounds Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of our facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, and landscaping of outdoor areas.
• Maintain and operate groundskeeping equipment including mowers, blowers, and hand tools.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control efforts during the winter months.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation of facility grounds.
• Keep inventory of all grounds maintenance supplies and report when reorders are necessary.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Some experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is desirable.
• Ability to use groundskeeping tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
