OVERVIEW:
As a Broker Support VA, you will be the engine behind the scenes, ensuring that the loan application journey is stress-free and efficient for every client. Working closely with an experienced team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the firm’s reputation for high-touch, personalized service and expert lending advice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Application Management: Assist in the end-to-end processing of residential and commercial loan applications using Connective (Mercury/MyCRM).
• Data Entry & Integrity: Accurately input client data and financial information into CRM systems and lender portals, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Document Verification: Collect, review, and organize supporting documents (pay slips, tax returns, bank statements) to ensure applications are "investor-ready" before submission.
• Liaison: Coordinate with lenders, solicitors, and clients to track the progress of applications and resolve any outstanding conditions or "push-backs" promptly.
• Client Engagement: Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates on their application status to ensure a world-class customer experience.
• Administrative Excellence: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage schedules, generate reports, and maintain organized digital filing systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Work under the mentorship of senior staff to refine processes and stay updated on Australian lending policies and NCCP/BID requirements.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, or Commerce preferred).
• Experience: At least 1 year of Virtual Assistant (VA) experience is required. While Australian mortgage broking experience is highly preferred, general VA experience with a strong administrative background will be considered.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word) and a quick learner of new CRM software.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a background in customer service.
• Location & Reliability: Must be based in Cebu and able to commit to Perth business hours consistently.
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):
• Industry Tools: Prior experience using Connective (Mercury or MyCRM) is a significant advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Australian mortgage industry, including basic knowledge of lenders and loan structures.
• Certifications: A Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is a plus but not mandatory.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
