Broadband Technician

Chariton Valley is looking for a full-time Broadband Technician to join our team. Following our mission, Keeping You Connected, Chariton Valley has provided state-of-the-art communication solutions to businesses and residents in Northeast Missouri for 70 years.

Job responsibilities include cable locates and installation and repair on analog phones, HPBX phones, data networks, and video services. The working schedule will vary, including evenings and weekends, as needed. This individual will be in a rotation for on-call duty.

We are looking for an individual with a working knowledge of data and dial tone networks, HPBX phones, fiber optic cables and test equipment, DC power, and the ability to interpret network maps. The successful candidate must be able to make quick decisions, work well with others, possess excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as, be a self-starter, with the ability to work alone with little supervision. The Broadband Technician may be required to lift/move up to 100 pounds and live within 20 minutes of our Hallsville CO.
