JOB LOCATION: DECATUR, AR
We're looking for a Broadband Deployment Installer/Repairer to join Rally Networks! The candidate must have excellent listening skills and be great at communicating with customers and customer relations specialists. The preferred candidate will have experience in outside plant maintenance, central office telecom work, and fiber-optic broadband projects. Summary: We are seeking a proactive Broadband Deployment Installer/Repairer to serve our customers in Arkansas. The position will primarily provide broadband installations and repairs in Benton County. The position will also provide broadband installations and repairs in areas surrounding Benton County as may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Installs, maintains, and services broadband network, cable, subscriber carrier systems, terminal, protection device, and customer owned equipment.
May also diagnose and repair trouble in switching equipment, voice frequency repeaters, loop extenders and cable loading systems and other broadband equipment.
Typically installs drop wires, station protectors, and network interface devices, and performs initial wiring or rewiring for new subscriber systems.
Performs internal locating services for Rally Networks for the required 811 tickets.
Qualifications:
Self-Starter:
Ability to "jump right in," troubleshoot independently, and manage your own workflow.
Communicator:
Capable of building strong working relationships with Customer Relations Specialists.
Experience:
Previous experience in outside plant maintenance, central office telecom work, and fiber-optic broadband projects is preferred, but a high level of technical aptitude and a "can-do" attitude are the priorities.
