Job Summary:
• The Breast Radiologist is a critical member of SimonMed Imaging’s subspecialty radiology team, focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic breast imaging and image-guided procedures. This role exists to support early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer and related conditions while providing an exceptional patient experience. The radiologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary breast care team and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
Job Duties:
• Interpret screening and diagnostic 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Communicate diagnostic findings effectively with referring providers and patients when appropriate.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including tumor boards and case reviews.
• Contribute to protocol development and quality assurance in compliance with ACR and MQSA guidelines.
• Ensure timely report turnaround and high standards of patient care.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, AI tools, and best practices in breast imaging.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• MD or DO with completion of a radiology residency and fellowship in breast imaging or women’s imaging.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of post-training experience preferred; recent fellowship graduates considered.
• Experience with high-volume outpatient or hybrid imaging settings preferred.
