A Brand Strategy Resident is responsible for assisting in compiling qualitative and quantitative research. They work closely with Strategists to help impact the quality of creative work by applying their understanding of the consumer, the category, and the industry. This position may include keeping tabs on competitive brands, developing consumer community insights, exploring and sharing cultural inspiration, and developing creative briefs.
Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements
• Based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree or college diploma in marketing, business, social sciences, media, or a related field
• Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with coworkers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
• Proficient in Excel, Google Workspace, and social media/digitally savvy
• A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Exceptional initiative, attention to detail, and follow-through
