Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Brand Manager to define how Hilo shows up in the world. This role is responsible for owning and executing the visual identity, brand guidelines, packaging, marketing materials, website, and communications. You will ensure that the brand is consistently recognizable, cohesive, and compelling across all external touchpoints.

You will work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to translate Hilo’s mission and values into visual storytelling that resonates with users, partners, and stakeholders. This role requires impeccable taste, strong design sensibility, and the ability to combine creativity with execution to elevate how Hilo is perceived globally.

Core Responsibilities

Brand & Creative Direction

• Own and define the company’s visual identity and brand expression across all touchpoints working from the Head of Design’s output and guidance
• Set and uphold a clear, consistent, and high-quality design standard across marketing, website, packaging, and communications
• Continuously refine and elevate how the brand shows up externally as the company grows

Execution & Design Quality

• Translate brand guidelines into compelling visual assets for digital and physical channels
• Ensure consistency and attention to detail across all brand communications
• Support campaigns, product launches, and external communications with high-quality design

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to integrate brand into all initiatives
• Bring clarity and alignment across teams through strong visual and conceptual direction
• Provide creative guidance and feedback to internal and external design partners

Brand Monitoring & Growth

• Ensure brand application and standards are consistently followed across all touchpoints
• Monitor brand performance and make recommendations to strengthen recognition and impact
• Stay up to date with trends in design, branding, and consumer experience to keep Hilo visually relevant and distinctive


Requirements:
Experience

• 4–8 years in brand management, visual design, or design studio work
• Proven track record of maintaining and executing a recognizable consumer brand
• Experience across digital and physical touchpoints, including marketing, website, and packaging

• Execution-focused, able to translate vision into high-quality deliverables
• Collaborative, with excellent communication skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects with consistency and quality
