Brand Lead - Italy

📣 A bit about the role.

We’re thrilled to be bringing our fresh dog food to Italy! Butternut Box is looking for a creative, highly motivated, and results-oriented Brand Manager to help drive and define our brand as a key member of the Italian founding and leadership team.

In this role, you will come up with and execute brand marketing initiatives to grow awareness in a sustainable way. You will report directly to the Country Manager (Italy), with a dotted line to our Global Head of Brand. Your mission: bring health and happiness to dogs across Italy.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Own & Grow: Build Butternut Box Italy’s brand awareness from the ground up, communicating the power of fresh dog food.

• Impact: Execute high-impact campaigns that get people talking and build "brand love" in the Italian market.

• Innovate: Have the freedom to push boundaries and create truly impactful, localised work.

• Connect: Meet and pet plenty of dogs along the way.

Brand Marketing

• Strategy & Execution: Develop impactful initiatives that align with our central brand positioning while remaining deeply relevant to Italian dog owners.

• Campaign Management: Lead projects from ideation to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and drive consumer advocacy.

• Growth: Generate creative ideas to support ambitious growth objectives in Italy and report on brand performance through regular brand tracking and experimentation.

Brand Communications

• Brand Guardianship: Execute communication that reflects Butternut’s tone, values, and visual standards.

• Localisation: Ensure our "tone of voice" is flawlessly adapted for the Italian audience while clarifying our unique offering.

• PR & Outreach: Coordinate external communications, manage inbound opportunities, and ensure Butternut is picked up by the right news outlets in Italy.

👋 A bit about you.

• Experience: 4+ years in Brand Management with a proven track record of growing brands (Bonus for background in DTC)

• Operational Excellence: High standards for operational excellence, including budgets, calendars, and timelines.

• Relationship Builder: Able to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams and functions, both internally and externally.

• Bias for Action: A highly creative and non-traditional thinker who just makes things happen.

• Contemporary Shakespeare: You are articulate in your vision and can inspire others - from teammates to customers. Great copywriting is second nature to you.

• Tech Savvy: Fluent in G-Suite (Sheets and Slides); being well-practised in Adobe Suite is a big bonus.

• For the Love of Dogs: You really like (love?) dogs!
