Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for a Branch Manager and Client Acquisition for GlobalLINK Seoul, VP to oversee the GlobalLINK platform teams in South Korea. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing a branch performance and governance, provide strategic leadership for the GlobalLINK business in South Korea, drive client acquisition, oversee platform delivery and controls, and strengthen partnerships with regulators, clients, and internal stakeholders.

What you will be responsible for
As a Branch manager and client acquisition for GlobalLINK Seoul, VP you will
• Oversee and lead overall branch performance to ensure achievement of business objectives, driving business growth and strengthening client relationships.
• Responsible for the implementation, development, monitoring, and maintenance of governance frameworks including board and committee oversight, policies and procedures and management of any framework to support regulatory requirements of the legal entity.
• Understand relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., local regulations, financial reporting requirements)
• Provide leadership and direction to cultivate a high-performing branch team.
• Analyze market trend, identify the leads, present products value proposition, as well as negotiate client contracts.

• Ability to generate sales leads through numerous channels, but whilst demonstrating strict adherence to cross-border & jurisdictional compliance.
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks and working across multiple processes simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent teamwork across different departments and successfully guides the development of innovative projects and concepts.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• 12+years’ experience in foreign exchange or related markets, with at least 5 years’ experience in managing people role, preferably within a large Financial Institution.
• Deep experience within financial services, banking, or related industries; exposure to FX trading platforms preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance practices together with a thorough understanding of State Street’s business and product offerings.
• Long track record of demonstrated customer orientation, including existing and new business development with history of strong performance and achievement in the sales arena.
• Proven ability to build, develop and retain high‑performing team internally.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience) desirable.
• Fluent in English and Korean
