SHIFT HOURS: 4 on/4 off, 16 hours per week

PAY RATE: £16.12 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

You will be required to drive airside and operate aircraft water and water waste systems, along with hi lifts, minibuses and any other vehicle required. Full training will be provided This position will involve carrying out vehicle safety checks, ensuring the water service vehicles are regularly sterilized and conform with water audits being carried out. This role also involves a certain amount of manual handling when connecting and disconnecting from the aircraft. Specific PPE will be required for this role and is provided by the company. Working as part of the team you will deliver an excellent service to the airlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL

· Operate lavatory/water service vehicles

· Operate aircraft in-plane systems.

· Must be familiar with and follow all Client Policies and Procedures in the servicing of Aircraft lavatories for that particular Client.

· Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co- workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

· Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned, such as cabin cleaning and other driving duties.

· The work environment has a moderate to high noise level.

Employees are exposed to a variety of weather conditions as they travel to and from aircraft on the ramp.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Very good attention to details and very good observation skills.

· Being able to work under pressure and multitasking.

· Able to work as part of the Team.

· Being able to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment.

· Able to work without constant supervision and follow the management instructions.

· Reliable and flexible

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Full training will be provided.

ESSENTIAL

· All applicants must have the indefinite right to work in the UK and have been a resident for a minimum of 3 years.

· Due to CAA regulations, all applicants must be over 18 years of age.

· Previous experience operating service vehicles preferred.

· Applicant must hold a valid UK driver's license.
