As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable / Receivables: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Billing: Generate and issue invoices to clients. Verify billing accuracy and resolve any billing-related issues. Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary billing information.
• Bank Reconciliations / Collections: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, facilitating collections.
• Payroll Processing: Administer the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, validation, and distribution of paychecks.Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Invoicing: Prepare and submit invoices to clients in a timely manner. Coordinate with project managers and team leads to gather relevant invoicing information.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working in a virtual or remote environment is a plus
• Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
• Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
• A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
